Courtney starting swimming competitively at Brookside at the age of 4 and was a member of the Brookside Swim Team for 15 years. She was also was a member of the Raritan Valley YMCA Riptide Swim Team for 12 years and RVY National Team for 7 years, being named captain as a senior. Courtney has coached at Brookside for the past 4 years and will complete graduate school at TCNJ in Special Education in May, after graduating with high honors from TCNJ with majors in Early Childhood Education and Psychology in May 2019. She was a member of the TCNJ women's swim team for four years, and was named captain in her senior year.
Michael starting swimming competitively for Brookside at the age of 5 and was a member of the swim team for 13 seasons. While swimming for Brookside, Michael broke (and still holds) the 8 & Under 100 Medley Relay record with his teammates and also currently holds the 15-18 100 Breaststroke record. He also was a member of Raritan Valley YMCA Swim Team for 12 years and was a part of the National Team for 6 years. Michael graduated from Saint Joseph High School in 2018, was a captain of the swim team, and was a 4x Conference Champion. Michael has been a coach at Brookside for the past 2 years. Michael was a member of the Men’s Swim Team at Fordham University his freshman year. After being out of the pool his sophomore year due to an injury recovery, Michael plans to return to the sport for his junior season. Michael is currently majoring in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Business Law and Ethics.
Erin has been swimming for Brookside since she was an 11-12 and will be swimming her final season this year. This will be her second year coaching for the team. Erin has also swam 8 seasons for Raritan Valley YMCA Riptide Swim Team and her favorite events are the 100 Back and 50 Free. Although she will not be continuing her swimming career in college, Erin plans to study business after graduating from Spotswood High School in June.
Jonathan joined Brookside when he was an 8 & Under and has been swimming for the team ever since. This is his second year coaching for Brookside. He was also a member of Raritan Valley YMCA Riptide Swim Team for 7 years, attended nationals for five of them, and was a captain his senior year. He was also a captain for the East Brunswick High School swim team his senior year and received a varsity letter all four of his years on the team. Next year Jonathan will be attending Drew University where he will continue his swimming career and study Business Management.
