Coach Courtney has announced she is stepping down as the Head Coach of Brookside's Swim Team. We are so thankful for her investment in our swimmers and the passion she brought for 10 years. Thank you, Coach Courtney, for 10 Incredible Years!
Katie Ryan began swimming at the age of 7 starting out here on the Brookside Team. In addition to Brookside, Katie competed for Riptide and East Brunswick High School. She currently swims for Monmouth University's Division 1 Men's and Women's swim team and is studying exercise science. At Monmouth, she is a representative for the Monmouth Student Athlete Advisory Committee and is a team captain for the 2026-27 collegiate season. Katie has worked as an assistant coach for the past 4 summer seasons and is very eager to step up into the head coach position this year. She is excited to work alongside her former teammates Sami Guadagnino, Kaitlin Hall, and Cole Eastep. Katie's favorite summer swim memory was racing... and beating... her coaches as a young swimmer.
