Mini Minnow 2019-Jobs, Food, and Lottery Information

Hi all!

Our Mini Minnow Meet is coming soon! For those of you not familiar, it is a 9 and under invitational meet that we host. For Brookside Swim Club, it is our largest fundraiser, and the money it takes in goes directly to the Swim Club and the Swim Team. It is an extremely large meet which of course means that it takes everyone helping out in order for it to be successful. Working Mini Minnow is a part of the swim team work bond, and working Mini Minnow is mandatory for ALL swim team parents.

Job assignments are now up on our schedule of events. When you are signing up for jobs, please consider having more than one family member work. Moms, dads, even children 10 and over, are wonderful workers-we have some jobs they would be perfect for! Also, consider signing up for both shifts, either in the same or different jobs. Many families do so, even those whose children are long past Mini Minnow age.  Any questions, please see Amy Ryan.

Our food donation list is also up on the schedule.  Please donate what you can, there are many things we need, and you can begin dropping them off at the pool anytime (baked goods the day of Minnow please).  See Denise Uzunis with any questions regarding food/beverages.

Lottery ticket donations for our Mini Minnow Lottery Boards can be given to the managers at any time.  People line up for a chance to win the lottery boards, so let's try to get as many as possible in!  Families who donate $5 or more will be entered in a raffle for free guest passes!

Thank you again to all of you who help to make this a great day for our younger swimmers.  We get many compliments over the year as to how well our meet runs, and how much fun their children have participating.

We hope to see all of you on July 21st!

Amanda Guadagnino, Amy Ryan, Denise Uzunis, and Mike Deutchman
