Brookside Swim Team's First Virtual Meet!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are very excited to announce the first virtual swim meet of the summer season!!! Brookside Swim Team was invited to swim with teams from 3 other states, making this a "Quad Meet" . It will be very much like our regular dual meets. We will need Officials, Timers, Back Up Timer, Runner, Set Up. Break Down, and Technology (Colorado Board, etc....) help. Please understand you will be asked to work approximately 2 meets this season, potentially more if needed. More specific job information to come!

Please read the attached guidelines carefully.  It is important that everyone attending our meets understands what they will need to do in order for us to ensure the safety of all.  We don't want to have to ask anyone to leave due to noncompliance.  A few things not stated in our attached guidelines are: Remember we are not serving any food or drink.  We will have a Social Distancing Ambassador (possible parent job) like we do during club hours, walking around and reminding everyone to please social distance.  Please be courteous and respectful of the measures we are taking to ensure everyone's safety.  Before exiting the club after the meet, families are responsible for picking up any personal belongings and trash.  We ask that you leave when the meet is done, and not congregate.  Our Brookside staff needs to be able to sanitize and ready the club for the general membership to enter for the day.  Any further directions will be emailed out prior to the meet.

Here in Swimtopia, please declare your child as either attending or not attending this first meet by no later than this Saturday, July 4.  You can also go in and declare them for meets on July 15 and July 18.  A few more meets are TBD.

With everyone on board for working and following the guidelines, we will be ready for our first virtual meet.  The coaches and I have worked very hard to ensure a safe, fun season for our athletes.  Any questions, feel free to reach out to myself or Coach Courtney.

Sincerely,

Amy Ryan
