Hi Everyone!

I hope everyone had a great start to their week! First off, I am happy to say that we officially won our virtual meet this past Saturday against Frog Hollow! Congrats on more amazing swims! Lets keep the momentum going into this week of meets! The results from the meet are attached.

Second, we will be having our next virtual meet this Wednesday 7/22 against Cedar Hill (they will be swimming their part of the meet on Thursday 7/23). This Wednesday will also be Senior Day where we will honor our graduating seniors! Please be sure to declare your swimmer as attending/not attending by tonight! I will be doing entries tomorrow morning. For the meet, warm up will be at 5:30pm at Brookside with a 6pm start time. The pool will be closing at 5pm. Entry for the Wednesday meet will be just like it has been. Since the club closes at 5, everyone must leave and entry for the meet will begin at 5:10pm. Events will be a 'Wednesday NJSDC format' like last Wednesday (girls swim free, back, breast/boys swim IM, free, fly). We must continue to keep our social distancing while lining up for races and relays, during them, and after them. Please remind your swimmer about these rules before the meet. There are still many jobs available for this meet and our meet on Saturday. We cannot run the meets without your help, so please sign up for a job! Remember: timers on each lane must be parents of the same family!

Additionally, next Wednesday and Thursday we will be 'hosting' our 'virtual championships' against the other teams in the NJSDC who are having a team this summer. This will be the culmination of our season and will be one last opportunity for our swimmers to race this summer! Please declare your swimmer as attending/not attending. Entries will be done on Wed/Thurs this week at practice and swimmers will choose their events. The 13 and Over swimmers will be swimming on Wednesday evening 7/29 (5:30 warm up, 6pm start) and the 12 and under swimmers will swim on Thursday morning during Brookside's practice time (8:30 warm up, 9:00am start). With that being said, we cannot run this meet without your help either. I understand that Thursday morning will be hard for parents to work due to jobs, but if the 13-18 swimmers would please volunteer to time since they will not be practicing (if we can get two siblings in the same lane that would be great, remember you will be wearing a mask), that would be extremely helpful!
