Good Evening!

I hope everyone had a great week! Tomorrow we have a tri-meet against Cedar Hill and East Brunswick! Warm up will be at 8:45am at Brookside with a 9:15pm start time, as posted on the website. If you are working, please check in with Amy Ryan when you arrive. Entry for the meet will begin at 8:25 and will be just like it was at our other meets. Please continue to maintain social distancing and remind your swimmer(s) to maintain social distancing as well. I understand that many of you are friends and hang out outside of swimming, but at meets (and practice), it cannot happen. The kids are reminded at practice everyday, but I wanted to remind everyone to remind their swimmers in order to keep us all safe!

Events will be in a sprint format as requested by EB and will be as follows: 

8&Unders- all 25s

9&Over- 100IM and 50s of each stroke

There will be relays at this meet that again. I know many kids are excited about relays, but we must continue to keep our social distancing while lining up for them, during them, and after them. Please remind your swimmer about these rules before the meet. Additionally, do not congregate behind the blocks! Only the heat that is on deck should be standing on the grey tape behind the blocks.

Our meet from this past Wednesday has been rescheduled for this Sunday, 7/26. Warm up will be at 9am at Brookside, and the meet will start at 9:30am. Entry for the meet will begin at 8:40 and will also be the same as in the past. The format will remain the same and will assume that your child will be attending unless you email me otherwise. Please let me know if there are any questions.

Finally, please remember to sign your swimmers up and pick their events for the Championship/Invitational meet this Wednesday night (13 and over) and Thursday morning (12 and under). If their events are not chosen I will choose for them. Don't forget about the meet shirts that are being offered in our team store!
