End of the Season Wrap Up and Information

Dear Swim Team Families,

Thank you so much for all of your time, patience, work, thoughtfulness, and rewritten checks!!!  I am so grateful to work with all of you during the season, you make my job so much easier by being flexible and understanding throughout the summer.  To all my officials, timers, set up/break down crew, scoring table, runners, ribbon writers, and any other jobs I'm forgetting to mention, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

Thank you to our coaches-Courtney, Michael, Jonathan, Ryan, and helping hand Ava-we had one of our most successful seasons ever guided by all of you.  All the practices where you spent time working towards our kids goals, listening when they needed someone to talk to, helping them to be better swimmers, paid off big with our UNDEFEATED SEASON and being named FIRST PLACE at A LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!! In an Olympic year, you made our kids feel like Olympians, and I truly thank all of you.  What a wonderful group of coaches to work with, I love you all!

Finally, thank you to the swimmers and their families for showing up, swimming fast, and showing such Brookside spirit.  I have loved watching you throughout the summer at practice and meets.  Whether new to the team or seasoned swimmers, the friendships you made and the bond our team has carries on outside the pool.  I hope to see all of you sometime over the winter, please know I'll be cheering you on!

Now, last few bits of business:

  • Team pictures for each swimmer and any awards your swimmer may have earned can be picked up in the Brookside office.  Don't delay, the summer goes quick and we are not open after Labor Day.
  • I will send an email in a few weeks regarding our "Undefeated Season/ A League Championships Winners" merchandise that will be sold.  Many parents and swimmers have asked about shirts, tanks, and sweatshirts, and we are working on it!  Stay tuned!
  • Work bond checks will be ripped up today, unless I email you otherwise.

Have a wonderful rest of your summer, stay safe, hope to see you next season!

Sincerely,

Amy Ryan
