Meet Attendance, Wednesday Practice and Meet Info, Weekend Info

Hi Everyone!

Happy Monday! We hope you're having a great start to the week! This email is packed with upcoming information, so please read the whole thing!

We had a great and CLOSE meet on Saturday against Woodbridge. Unfortunately, we only lost by 13 points! This was a winnable meet (just like our meet against Cranford!) if we had had a full team! It is expected that you are attending all meets possible, and we cannot win meets without having each other there!!! Please make every effort to come to meets (and practices!)! Remember: Summer swimming is the best!!!

On Wednesday, we already have our 4th meet! Do not forget, you cannot swim in Championships or Conferences (if qualified) if you do not swim in at least 4 dual meets! Again, it is expected that you are swimming in all of them, but for those of you that have only swam in 1 meet or 0 meets, you need to be careful!!!!!

Going forward, Wednesday practices will be from 9-10am for all groups (unless otherwise noted), due to a meet at night! This will be a technique, starts, turns, and fun practice!

We have just one meet again this week on Wednesday AT Roycefield (24 New Amwell Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844). Please arrive at Roycefield BY 5:20PM and check in with a coach so that we can prepare and stretch before warm up. Warm ups will be 5:45pm and the meet will start by 6:15ish. Be on time!

Please Remember:

- Your swimmer is expected to SIT WITH THE TEAM.

- Your swimmer is expected to stay for the duration of the meet, until after the last relay is swum and we do a team cheer at the end of the meet. Please do not leave before the end of the meet.

Additionally, there is NO PRACTICE on Thursday July 4th or Friday July 5th. We also have our second "BYE" of the season this Saturday July 6th (no meet!). After our meet on Wednesday you can enjoy a 4 day weekend!!!!

Finally, if your swimmer is WALKING in the Milltown 4th of July Parade on Thursday, be sure to fill out the form HERE. Remember: 10 and under swimmers MUST be accompanied by their parent!

Let me know if you have any questions! Have a great day!

GO BROOKSIDE!
